coach_stacyStacy Walters is a corporate wellness and gardening expert with over 14 years of experience in the health and wellness industry. As a registered kinesiotherapist and master gardener, she blended her enthusiasm for her profession and favorite recreational activity to develop the Fit to Garden™ program in 2007.

Specializing in operational management for numerous marquis corporate wellness programs including fitness centers, wellness initiatives, and health resource clinics, Stacy fully understands the challenges that corporate stakeholder, c-suite, human resources, and employee benefits managers encounter.  After customizing countless wellness programs that increase employee engagement, camaraderie, and healthy behavior, Stacy recognizes that an employee-driven, grassroots approach to wellness is the most effective, in terms of both participation and return on investment.  Stacy decided to put her own true passion into practice at the corporate level and launched a corporate garden testing plot.  The program has continued to “grow”, and the positive results have encouraged her to launch a corporate gardening campaign.

Coach Stacy has found that corporate gardens are an easy to implement, economically sound and creative way to address employee health habits.  Stacy has implemented several successful corporate garden programs. Throughout the journey with each company, she has set benchmarks, identified challenges, and established best practices.

Stacy’s quest for knowledge in human performance and green living led her to obtain the following certifications: CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach, Powerhouse Pilates mat, prenatal, golf, reformer and equipment personal training; AFAA personal training; AFAA group exercise; Johnny G Mad Dogg Spinning; Arthritis Leadership and Effective Supervisory Management. She is also trained in Senior Fitness, Breast Cancer Recovery Exercise Programming, and is currently attending the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and obtaining her Personal Fitness Chef certification.  Her career in the health and fitness industry includes experience as a Fitness Director, Athletic Director, Club Manager, and corporate wellness operations management.
